Crank handle replacement

The start handle that came with my old dumper's PH2 hand crank engine only survived a few moments before the pin bent and snapped, probably from cranking a bit too hard. It looked like a homemade job , made from steel bar with a pin through the end to lock into the lobes. Im now on the hunt for a sturdier replacement but haven't had much luck so far, any leads?

You might have better luck checking with small engine repair shops since they sometimes keep old crank parts around. If nothing turns up, a local fabricator could easily make you one that will outlast the engine.
